We came to meet friends for dinner as they live locally and we are visiting the area. The restaurant has a good layout as you can enjoy a conversation without disturbing others. The menu is extensive but there are minimal vegetarian options. The food is tasty and the service friendly without being intrusive. We had a lovely evening.

I have stayed in the Mondo on a number of occasions and I shall continue to do so going forwards. Excellent hotel, the staff are so helpful and friendly, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Mondo to anyone considering a stay in Coatbridge.
We had a lovely two night stay here when visiting for a local wedding. The carpark had plenty of space and the greeting in reception was excellent. Our suite on the ground floor was spacious with a good choice of drinks to include a Nespresso machine and plenty of milk jiggers. The room was clean and the bathroom had a large walk in shower. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and again for breakfast the next morning and both food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, during the first night, we were disturbed by a rather loud gentlemen in the room next door until he stopped shouting at his wife and passed out. We were also missing a second towel but within minutes of calling reception another was delivered. Having been at the wedding we didnt make breakfast in time the next day but with the 11am checkout it enabled us to get our heads together and make our way after a very pleasant stay. We look forward to staying here again.
My husband and I have stayed here a few times as we have friends in the town and this hotel is very convenient. We recently stayed the night before our holiday and the night we returned and the same lovely friendly receptionist was on both times. The rooms are a little on the small side however they have everything you need. Booking direct through the website gives you free breakfast in the restaurant which is also very good.

Stayed here for the coldplay concert, very reasonably priced considering everywhere else at the time had skyrocketed their prices. Really nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Even posted my keys back to me in Manchester free of charge when I left them in the room. 100% recommended.
My aunt and uncle had a short break in the hotel and from the moment they checked in to their departure they found every aspect of the experience exceptional. Staff were friendly, caring an helpful at all times - nothing was a problem. Room and breakfast excellent - good value for money and they would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
