We stayed two nights in this 'hostel'. Fantastic location, straight on the beach, sort of a Mexican hippie cabana atmoshere. Free unlimited wifi. The Indian Summer weather was hot and sunny. Almost everything about the place was run down and needed repairs. We had to pay in advance but we had to ask for a receipt. Locals told me that the owner stayed in a Brittish jail for tax evasion. That explaned perhaps why the staff looked so utterly bored and uninterested. The not unpretty girl with the lightblue eyes first gave us room #5 but the 30 year old Toshiba arcon made a lot of noise but did'nt do what it was supposed to do (cooling) . So she gave us #7 which was much better, that is, it did have a new split aircon but the shower bar was broken and the mirror light did'nt work. The bed was horrrible, but the room itself was clean and not unpleasant. We had to ask for clean towels the second day which were supplied though. The terrace was nice but the wooden chairs had’nt seen any paint in 20 years and the totally worn out ‘cusions’ were soaked in the morning because of the seadamp at night. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay a lot because of the unique atmosphere and location.
