The apartments location is ideal. Close enough to the pool but far enough away not to hear noise from it. Not far from the 'walk through' to allocated car parking space. Next to tennis courts and condado club.
The apartment is very well equipped. Clean and has everything you need including Aircon! Really can't fault it.
Sun terrace is lovely but too hot to use till the sun goes down I would say!

Great resort, especially for families and older couples. Very safe gated resort that can only be entered through security. Very large complex with houses and apartments. Each block have their own pool and all the public areas are well maintained and kept very clean. Good family entertainment at Al Kazar which has a supermarket, bars and a great selection of restaurants, as well as loads of kids activities including bouncy castles, trampolines, pool tables etc. There is also tennis courts and play grounds but a bit too hot in the summer to use these.
The resort is remote so you would definitely need a car. Would recommend a visit to Mazzaron - lovely port with shops, bars and restaurants. Lots of lovely Spanish restaurants to visit that aren't spoiled by tourism.

Few days break, fantastic apartments, restaurants, bars, entertainment for all the family. Very clean, no rowdies and good security. Easy to get to from Alicante. Loads of interesting places to get around, hire car essential.

Room tip: Take an apartment with a sun terrace

We arrived at the Condado de Alhama after a 90 minute transfer from Alicante Airport to be greeted by a rather rude official who complained she had to wait over an hour for our arrival. We had previously filled in a form from "Military Breaks" stating flight times and predicted arrival between 13;00 AND 14:00, we arrived at 13:15. Still after this we set about exploring the vast site that is Condado El Alhama. Luckily we were close to the Centre where the shop and restaurants were otherwise we would have needed a car to visit them. The driveway to the Condado is over a mile long and the property is fenced off all the way round by a brick wall topped by railings. The avenues of the property's are served by beautifully kept roads and grass verges which are completely litter free. There are many pools (including child pools) all of which are spotlessly clean and easily accessed. There is a Gym which is situated in two unused squash courts which to be fair is a fair bit tired. The football pitches are overgrown as are the Boule Courts other than one which is obviously active. Tennis Courts are the short version and well kept. The golf course is excellent especially as it's situated in a desert like surround with various small lakes and plenty of bunkers.
The apartment was pretty good with a well equipped kitchen, good TV and Video player, nice furniture and comfortable beds. The outside patio had quite poor garden furniture with a decent table and four chairs, one of which had a broken leg.
The beach is a twenty minute drive away on superb roads, I would recommend Bolnuevo or a small beach to the West of there.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, the residents are very friendly and the restaurants and bars are very good, would we return - I don't think so.
When we arrived at the Condado we were informed that a cleaning fee of 60 Euros was required which was payable in cash. Whilst on our stay of 11 days we haven't had a cleaner or towels and sheets changed so, maybe someone could tell me what we have paid for....

Room tip: Make sure your apartment is close to the centre

Stunning resort, safe secure gated community. Completely relaxing with enough to do should you wish to - hire bikes, play tennis, hire 5 aside football pitch, pitch and put plus much more.
Great selection of eateries and a couple of decent bars. Love this resort!
