We had tried to eat here for several years after our children had told us how good it was. The food was good but not different and the staff seemed to be too busy so it was not a relaxed atmpsphere. Sounds awful but we felt there were better places to eat in Begur.

Despite many trips to Begur, I've never noticed this restaurant before, but it's only a 2 minute walk from the church in the centre.
We started with cocktails which were all excellent, even my husbands vodka martini which most bars ruin. I was especially happy to have cucumber in my Hendricks gin. They also serve a beautiful rose cava which is the best I've ever tasted.
Our starters were tuna tartare with guacamole and salmon tartare with avocado, both delicious.
For mains we had the suckling pig and pork cheeks, they were extremely tasty. Our other main was the chicken curry. It had a lovely flavour, however the rice served with it shouldn't have come out of the kitchen. It was way overcooked and ruined the dish. We didn't like to send it back as we didn't want to eat 2 meals whilst someone sat with nothing. This was the only disappoint of the night.
Overall it was a lovely night in an unusually quirky environment with very friendly and helpful staff, I would love to return. It has an excellent menu to suit everyone, even a burger for those who aren't adventurous with food.

We were staying at the hotel for a couple of nights (which is worth its very high trip advisor rating) and decided to eat here one night. Very happy we did. Just a great spot.

Atmosphere was very nice (DJ spinning 60s and 70s tunes, from Cuban standards (Guantanamera and Dos Gardenias) to the Rolling Stones). The service was great - welcoming and attentive enough - and the food was great. We didn't have the suckling pig rated so highly (which in retrospect I regret....reason to return!) but had some ravioli, ox tail and pork cheeks. All were very good but I think the fig goat cheese and spinach salad may have been the winner.

We had a wonderful night at this trendy/quirky restaurant and made a night of it enjoying 4 courses. The food was so tasty, my favourite has to be the chocolate fondue :)

The staff were great and very attentive. The highlight for me was the DJ playing old vinyl, added a very romantic feel to the night.

So loved the food and feel we went twice. Vinyl night had great music playing. Loved the strawberry gazpacho, chicken curry, tuna tartar with guacamole and chocolate mousse.
