We did not have reservations so we snagged a table in the bar area and proceeded to have a fabulous evening. There were four in our party. We started with an Olive Miste nice olive mix small and large enough to share with four. We are all oyster lovers so we ordered two Bama Oysters five to a plate and yummy small, spicy, and wet. The risotto and shrimp was enough to share more than a taste with all of the party and still had a little left over. The seasoning did not overpower the shrimp and the risotto was creamy. The braised lamb as more than a meal again shared and so tender it fell off the bone. Finally the hanger steak was enjoyed by two in the party and not a bit was left on the plate a perfectly cooked medium rare. And yes the dessert was a chocolate Budino that we passed around and ooohhed and ahhhed as we tasted.

We made reservations at the restaurant in PCM and were seated immediately upon arrival. The waitstaff was nice and efficient. Entrees purchased included the chicken, pork chops, and steak. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Entrée prices ranged from about $17 to $26 (the selection does change), though some were served a la carte. Side item add-ons were $6 each. Of course, there's a full bar.

I took my wife out to dinner and selected this restaurant in part because of the generally favorable reviews on TripAdvisor and the fact that she hadn't seen Ponce City Market yet.

It took a minute to find the restaurant because it wasn't listed on the stand-up directory in the main atrium. I took a guess that it would be near the food court eateries and was right.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it -- it looks like a great place to grab a bite with co-workers after work. We settled in to our table and ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer -- it was wonderful with beets instead of the usual tomatoes and a great crunch to the toasted bread and the goat cheese was really delicious.

My wife had the gnocchi and said it was probably the best that she had. She says, "Gnocchi were soft, light, not gummy or dense, and were lightly seared in the mushroom sauce, giving a great flavor. Best done gnocchi dish I've ever had. Sauce was rich butter and hen of woods, delicious flavor."

I enjoyed the rigatoni, a nice lemony bowl with guanciale, a kind of cured pork jowl, white beans and a pesto made of collard greens. I liked they had beer on tap from the nearby Orpheus Brewery.

For dessert, we shared a banana cake -- it had a nice layer of chocolate on top with a peanut butter sauce in between.

It made for a relaxing night out. The parking was convenient and although I don't really like to pay for parking, cost $3. Definitely a place we would return in the future.

We happened to come on a Saturday and the menu offered was brunch only during lunch hours. Although we were not in the mood for eggs at lunch time we managed to find some things that were quite surprising and different. Their kale salad is wonderful as are the semolina pancakes. The special pasta was a bucatini carbonara which was tasty but very rich with too much olive oil floating around the bottom of the bowl. The chicken panini was tasty with the chicken being cooked perfectly.
This is a full service restaurant which was nice given there were 6 of us with two babies at a crowded popular place on Saturday.
