We showed up to our room being given to a different guest after we called to say we would be a late check in and they confirmed we would still have our room. They placed us in one room and then we had to move to another. VERY inconvenient. We had people telling us different things and nothing lined up. We feel like we had a lot of lies told to us during our stay to try and appease us but in the end it all came out that they messed up. It was very stressful after a 28 hour car drive into town.

The hotel is adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center so if you are coming in town for a convention there, it's the most convenient place to stay. It's also adjacent to the CNN Center which provides good options for easy dining (food court). But both the hotel and the CNN Center are usually very, very busy. Expect crowds and lines. The rooms at the OMNI (at least in the South Tower) are old and in desperate need of some TLC. Also - the housekeeping/facilities didn't keep up with the crowd. Garbage cans were overflowing everywhere.

The Omni CNN center Hotel is a great location. For the price it really exceeded our expectations. The entire staff was friendly and professional. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in Atlanta.

The credit cards were done wrong, they ran out of the prebooked rooms of two beds, ran out of roll away beds and were delivering blow up beds, took 4 hours from check in to get another bed (1AM), not friendly staff, they acted like they didn’t want to help. Check in took almost 45 minutes, staff was very unprepared for the numbers and didn’t have answers to questions that should have been easy to answer.

We were billed for services we were told would be complimentary due to quality issues with the room. We had a filthy room with a bed that sagged in the middle with springs poking up through the mattress pad. Chair had body fluid stains on it. The blankets had hair on them. The shower was rusty. Turn down was offered but never happened. Valet took almost an hour to retrieve our car and at drop off it took 30 min for a valet to come take the keys.
