Went to the Jersey Boys musical at the Fox Theatre, and my husband and I wanted somewhere very close to the theatre to stay. As for parking...yes, parking is $25 at the Indigo, but for those who drove in for the show at the Fox, nearby parking seemed to run around $20 anyway. The parking lot is shared with the Georgian Terrace next door, and it was such a relief to know that our car was in a safe location. We were in easy walking distance to a few nearby restaurants and a very cool jazz club, Churchill Grounds, which happened to serve the best Korean food (?) AND the yummiest martinis that I have ever had.

Oh, we ordered room service for dinner and were very pleased. Two filets with wonderfully fresh vegetables (and 20% gratuity included) for $50 total. Drinks were very reasonably priced, and the bartender was so nice.

Yes, the room was small, but it was so charming. Yes, the bathroom is VERY small, but it is stocked with AVEDA products, not some junk products that reek of cheap flowers.

This will be our hotel of choice whenever we visit the Fox Theatre. I can't wait to stay there again!

Great review... thank you! The Fox Theatre is definitely an Atlanta favorite and a very special local feature, with an extensive list of world class entertainment. We are perfect for the theatre enthusiasts, as we are directly across the street, and welcome all to "make a night of it," and stay with us. Our 683 Bar & Bistro are great for dinner before, as well as great nightcaps after a show. We look forward to your next visit!

We found the Hotel Indigo to be friendly, comfortable, convenient, and just right for a weekend in Atlanta. It is right across the street from the Fox Theater with several decent restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are tiny but very clean and well appointed. Yes, bathrooms are only for one-at-a-time, but also very clean, and the shower was a good size. Who needs a huge bathroom anyway? Friendly wait staff in the downstairs bar; made a mean martini. Light breakfast menu was perfect to start our day. Decorated in trendy art deco with attention to detail.
We were with a group who came in for a show at the Fox, and we all loved the Indigo!

Thank you very much for this insightful and gracious review! We are pleased that you and your group realized the essence of our boutique treasure in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. The Fox Theatre has a very exciting summer lineup, so we hope that you will always choose us for a great night stay after the show...or anytime!

We had a great experience at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville so we thought we try the one in Atlanta. What a stark contrast. The Atlanta location is a remodeled site that impresses me that is was done on the cheap. This hotel is simply not a good value for the money. The bathrooms were as small as one on a cruise ship built 30 years ago. The sink top was coming away from the wall. The furniture was flimsy and the floor treatments were patch worked and outdated. The walls were thin and one could here guests in adjacent rooms. We won't be staying here again.

We are pleased that you enjoy the Hotel Indigo brand: each property is uniquely conceptualized and designed around its respective local, neighborhood story, to give you a different experience each time. Being a part of Atlanta's historic and music midtown district, our historic building has been newly renovated to reflect the influences of the Fabulous Fox Theatre, yet keeping elements of its nostalgic appeal. We hope that you continue to try Indigo around the world, and should your travels lead you back to Atlanta, we welcome you to give us another try.

Hotel was fun and very stylish. Rooms were comfortable. Bathrooms are truly tiny - not comfortable for everyone. Area is great! We walked to the Aquarium and all around the neighborhood which has a lot of restaurants and is vibrant and diverse. The only thing we needed a car for was to go to Turner Field. We are not young - we are retired. We were very comfortable in the hotel and the surrounding area. There were all kinds of people on the street but we didn't find any of them or the atmosphere to be threatening. The entire hotel, staff was pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and return.

Room Tip: The bathrooms are extremely small. The sink and toilet almost touch. You can rest your head on the s...

I was on a business trip to Atlanta, and the host booked me this hotel which is centrally located in the Midtown. If you take the MARTA train from airport, get off at the North Ave. station and if you pick the right exit you will see the hotel in less than 3 minutes. The hotel staff at the check-in counter was a bit cold, and didn't show any Southern hospitality, maybe because it annoyed him to start working in early morning?

The hotel room is clean but not spotless, there is LCD tv but I didn't use it too much. Wireless internet is fast and reliable. And their in-room dining menu seem to have a variety of choices. Overall it's good experience staying in this hotel. But every time I walked from and back to the hotel, I felt kind of being threatened in the neighborhood. The street (called Peachtree I think?) where the hotel is located is fine, because there is a FOX theather and it's quite busy with lots of people walking until very late. But on other streets nearby, you can see some either job-less persons or drug dealers. Like any other major US cities, I don't think it's a good idea to stay too close to downtown area, and you won't feel too comfortable using public transportation either.

Thank you for staying with us, and taking time to share your thoughts. We're glad that your overall experience was nice, but sorry to hear that you were not comfortable with the neighborhood - our guests always love the warm, southern atmosphere, and numerous local amenities and attractions. We hope that you'll stay again, should your travels lead you back to Atlanta.
