My wife and I stopped in here, this past weekend, on a quick trip to Manassas/DC. We were attending a concert that evening and was looking for a place to eat nearby our hotel in order to keep on schedule. I checked on TripAdvisor and it just so happened that Katerina's was rated #1 overall and was less than a mile away, which was great because we love Greek cuisine.
I ordered the Souvlaki platter with Greek Potatoes and a house salad, my wife ordered the Spanikopita with Greek Potatoes and a house salad as well. They served homemade pita with dipping oil as an appetizer, which was incredible on its own. The dinners however, were out of this world in taste, portion and quality. Hands down, the best Greek food Ive ever tasted in my life. Also, the price was more than fair, as our bill came to only $35 for two and we had to have take out boxes because of the portions.
I dont travel very often to the greater DC area, but will be this Spring and I can say without a doubt, we'll be coming back here again! I strongly advise anyone on the area to check this place out, it's phenomenal.
Thank you for the amazing dinner!
The caption above says it all. It was our first time there with another couple, their first time too. We were very impressed with everything. The prices were very resonable too. Khalid was our server. Very congenial, helpful and with a good sense of humor.
Great food, friendly servers, comfortable atmosphere. We had a great time. Highly recommended place to eat
We came in for her birthday dinner and loved the food and the service. She had the pastitsio and I had the best lamb chops in years. For dessert we had the Ekmek.
I didn't give a five rating because of the table. It is in the sunshine on a hot day and even with the shade pulled down, it isn't pleasant. And the table is so rickety I thought it would fall apart.
