We stayed here in March to April 2011 for 2 weeks and was pleasantly surprised at the standard, service and friendly welcome we recieved from the owners during our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed, the hotel had a nice indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and shop. We found the location to be excellent, as Malta is a relatively small island you can get to most places by the local bus network to which bus stops are very close by to the hotel. The owners even came out to thank us for staying there at the end of our stay when we were about to leave, a nice touch, overall i would recommend this hotel, mainly for the friendly service we recieved.
We were very pleasantly surprised on our arrival. Great looking place from outside, even better inside. apartment lovely with good range of equipment, great shower room, comfortable beds(twin, but rearranged to double) balcony overlooking sea. What more could we want? BETTER WEATHER!! Staff very friendly. All in all a great week.
arrived at 730 pm was greeted by the owner and advised of special bus service into valletta as it was new years eve and given directions to bus terminal.the staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpfull.studio was everything we needed and expected.spotlessley clean also.very good location for buses and the square.love malta and will definatly be back and probably at the sunseeker.
The rooms are what you need, location is perfect and facilities within the hotel are everything you need from internet, space for meetings/lectures, arcades games, gym and pool!! Not to mention a shop to buy some items! This hotel was great when I stayed there!
Had a week in November. Weather poor. Resort not very attractive but public transport very good for seeing the best bits of the island. Paid extra for additional room because the single bedroom apartments with the sea views were snapped up by the people on long stay holidays.
Apartments need upgraded. Basic 70's style and the toilet flush is a hit or a miss.
Slept ok until about 6 am each day. The noise that wakes you is distant gun shots but you could mistake it for the typical noises you get from rooms being cleaned. The Maltese apparently like to shoot birds and it dawned on me that there were no seagulls in this seaside resort. Not many young people in the resort in November either.
Probably wont do Malta again but Gozo, Valetta, Sliema and St Julians were very good even though some may find it rather hilly. Locals and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hop on Hop off bus very good value and you get a free cruise which you can take on another day.
