Description: From Latin Arquadis, name of the locality during the Roman times (47 d.c.) along the Imperial Claudia Augusta road. At the time Mansio, now a national monument Venetian villa. What sets us apart is our philosophy, "a simple luxury", with discrete, elegant and attentive service, to help you relax, enjoy the dishes and combinations, to make you live an experience beyond the time. Since 1993 the restaurant has had several famous chefs: Raffaele Liuzzi, Fulvio De Santa, Giuseppe Sestito, Bruno Barbieri. Now it is the time of Alessandro Rocchio, very promising and talented youth, with great ability to create balance of flavors and emphasis on colours in the presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere is magical both in the halls of the Venetian villa and in the glasshouse among tropical plants and flowers. The garden between scents and spectacular microclimate will be a perfect setting in the beautiful summer evenings. The gazebo is the outdoor restaurant by the pool, for the afternoon lunch in the cool shade of a pergola. Dishes. From Marcus Gavius Apicius, proposed by Alessandro Rocchio, our Imperial Rome menu with dishes that will surprise you for elegance and sophistication, paired with our wines labeled in Latin (Ausia, Satyrus and Sublitys). Territory tasting menu for opportune knowledge of our culinary tradition, in conjunction with famous local wines (Amarone, Valpolicella, Ripasso, Recioto) Tasting menu typical Italian Mediterranean, rich in high-quality and typical products according to our tradition in combination with the best wines of our country.

Went here for a dinner expecting to have a nice Amarone with some upscale local food.

Overall, they try hard but they don't live up to the standards their prices (€100 for a tasting menu with wine pairing) suggest. Unfortunately while the wine list is huge, the local wines were only 3 short pages, with many of the local big names missing. Not very understandable for a restaurant in the middle of one of the worlds best wine areas. The food was good, quantities were too much for a tasting menu of 6 courses (I skipped 2 being a good eater otherwise), and seasoning (especially salt and pepper) was missing.

I love the food, simple, but with glamour, the taste and smell unforgettable,in 90 days we stayed in italy in hotels like the Villa Del Quar, consider one of the best kitchens, in the top 5.

We had a six course tasting menu that was simply outstanding. The service was exceptional, the environment beautiful, and the meal was spectacular. Fresh flavors, expert cuisine. Don't miss the 10-hour Veal Cheek. Oh my.

The meal and the service were incredible. Not a restaurant for those on a budget but for those who want a truly standout meal
