“Reunited in Tuscany”
Reviewed 5 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

I booked this villa for a family reunion. It was perfect for us as we had a mixture of couples and singles in the group aged 55 to 80.. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two lounges and two kitchens made the stay very comfortable for the various needs of the group. The villa has a lovely pool with amazing views over the Tuscan hills. Manuela the owner was very friendly and helpful. Our weather was lovely and outside several sets of garden furniture are dotted around the garden and pool, so you can find shade or sun at any one time. There is a laundry so you don’t have to pack much. Air Con was extra but we only ran it at night so for 6 people it was only an extra 23 euros for the week. The village Iano has a shop, bar and two restaurants so if you don't feel like going out you can manage. Supermarkets and other shops, restaurants can be found in Montaione and Castelfiorentino. We parked at Castelfiorentino railway station to get the train to Florence and you can also do this for Sienna, Pisa and Lucca. It is a lovely area, only about an hour and half from Pisa, so easy to get to, ideal for a gentle holiday.

“A hamlet in Tuscany”
Reviewed 25 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I was invited to join friends at this villa for a week from 15 to 22 June 2015 (they were booked for the whole month of June). We flew to Pisa and were collected from the airport by friends. The drive to the villa took about one hour through very beautiful countryside. The villa was just wonderful with a lovely swimming pool, all the one depth (I'm a non-swimmer) so I could get some exercise by walking around the pool and enjoy the cooling effects! The villa too was beautiful and the views were to die for! There are four double bedrooms with 4 bathrooms (one a little small) with plenty of dining space and relaxing areas too. There are two restaurants within walking distance and a mini-market where you can get all the essentials including fresh bread every morning. If you are looking for a quiet vacation I would honestly recommend this villa. However, I should add that this is a farming community and the cockrel will crow, the dogs will bark and the farmer will cut wood with an electric saw but such is everyday life in Iano, Tuscany, Italy. I'll return! Thank you Manuella and Roberto, my stay was wonderful.
