Crossroads Art Center is a 25,000 sq. ft. gallery, teaching facility and event space. The art is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. They host an open house every other month that is the go to place for that evening. Live music, cash bar, magicians and food trucks make it a wonderful evening out with friends. Crossroads is a must visit when yoiu are in Richmond and the best place to buy original art on the East Coast!

You simply must visit Crossroads, there is something for every creative interest, water colors, acrylics, pottery, jewelry, fabrics, collage, oils, and the list just goes on...and did I mention their wonderful events, classes and convenient location.

Parking is abundant, well lit and close to the center. Freshness prevails so you know frequent trips are important, something lovely is always happening!

The staff is welcoming, and the space is a lovely network of creative spirits at work to delight our senses. Love Jenny, and love the richness this adds to the Richmond Art Community.

Oh, and the love of animals is shared through their numerous benefits, something that really reflects art/humanity/community. Should be their byline...Enjoy your visit.

This is by far an art lover's must-visit when in Richmond. Whether it's one of the regular exhibition openings (with more than 1000 attendees per event!), a great class taught by master artists, or just a stroll through the work of more than 200 talented artists, Crossroads Art Center should not be missed. The place is HUGE, the staff is super-FRIENDLY, and the art runs the gamut of everything from expensive fine oil paintings to mosaics and glasswork to jewelry. There is always something new here! Great especially if you're looking for a piece of one-of-a-kind original art or if you're a designer searching for something specific for a client. So much to see!

Okay, I show and work at this gallery but it is quite simply the best gallery in the Richmond area.

Now expanded to 25,000 square feet it is huge. The latest expansion added 5000 square feet of classrooms and studios as well as wall space to display more artwork.

The gallery continues to upgrade the both the facility as well as the quality of the artwork displayed. It's bi-monthly openings are becoming legendary. (Every odd numbered month's 3rd Friday). 6 galleries completely change every other month and with over 200 artists in residence displaying works from small arts and crafts and greeting cards to paintings in the $10,000+ range, there's something for everyone!

Entry is free and they're open every day! Plenty of free parking and easy access.
