I can't say enough great things about this hotel. The room was spacious and clean and had adequate storage space and a minibar. Our king size bed was two twin bed mattresses together which is very common in Italy and not a problem. We had a sea view room and the view from our balcony was so enjoyable day and night. The hotel was quiet and the service was always wonderful. I only had the breakfast one morning and for free it was just fine. We loved Castellamare del Golfo and from this hotel you can walk all over the town. They had beach towels for rent at the front desk which was very convenient. The beach across the street isn't the cleanest but was convenient for a quick beach visit. We only had to pay for on street parking one time as we were usually able to get free parking right in front of the hotel. We hope to return to Sicily one day and will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: The sea view is worth it

Friendly, family run hotel by the bay. Rooms with excellent sea views and a nice bar and restaurant area. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The shower pressure was a bit lacking, and the breakfast did not have good cooked options, but otherwise ii had a very pleasant stay.

This was a wonderful hotel with ocean view rooms and a very short walk to a beautiful small beach. The room had all of the amenities and was quiet and very nice. It is located right on a nice piazza and in a central location. Short walk to great restaurants and shops. The breakfast included was very nice and complete with espresso, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, pastries, etc. excellent place to stay on the water!

We stayed at the hotel the first week in July on a B&B basis, details of each element below:

We rented a Balcony Room with a sea view (Room 208)- Very clean and adequate size although not huge which consisted of a large double bed, wardrobe and safe. Just off this is a bathroom with a small shower if you are larger than size 16 you may struggle or tall as the bathroom has a sloping roof to the side.
Breakfast - Continental no English breakfast which I find refreshing to see, but plenty of good quality fruit, pastries, cereal, ham and cheeses to choose from. There is a coffee machine with drinkable coffee and also an urn of coffee. They have soya milk for those lactose intolerant souls out there.
Reception - Very friendly staff especially Pino(a) sorry cannot remember his name often on over night. You can book excursions through them and a golf cart to the next beach along the coast which cost 10EUR for two people return. They recommend Peter Pan Resort and have a 10% discount to rent sun beds and an umbrella for all day. It is not a resort but you can get drinks and food there and the staff are friendly. There is also free wifi.
Piazza - located in front of the hotel has stalls which open in the cool of night selling local items to take home. There is also a restaurant located here which is very good and there special pizza is excellent. Nicola (male) is lovely even though he does not speak great English he tries (as did we visa versa). There are loads are other restaurants located front and back of the hotel all very good.
Beach - there is a beach just off the Piazza down steps (area not good for disabled or people unstable on their feet) there is a café and toilet facility there. It costs 15.00EUR to rent a bed and umbrella for 2 people all day, this is pebbly and not overly tidy, as stated above there is also another beach which if fit you can walk to if you did not want to get the golf buggy there, this beach is really sandy like Bournemouth beach and huge.
Town - this is within walking distance from the hotel and again has loads of places to eat and drink and buy holiday gifts, there is also banks to get your EUROs from.

Room Tip: Balcony Room due to the view
