Great location - right on cliff overlooking the ocean. Right on the plaza which had entertainment most nights. Free parking. Safe in rooms. Amazingly helpful staff. Got a free upgrade to seaview room. Nice clean rooms. Great free breakfast. Short walk to harbor and castle. And the town is a hidden gem!!! Would defo go back!

Good basic budget hotel
Placed in an excellent position for places to visit. Beaches and Marina are walking distance with excellent nearby restaurants and bars.
The hotel itself is basic, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our courtyard room faces a wall and was very quiet. There was a tv and safe provided, Six hangers two small draws, a fridge and air conditioning. The bed and pillows weren't comfortable for me they were very hard. There was a kettle with two sachets of coffee, tea and sugar, no milk. They provide plastic cups for the hot drinks with a small panel to hold the cup and two plastic beakers for water. Overall the room was clean. A bar of soap and two mini bottles of shampoo, tissues and a hairdryer are provided in the bathroom. Wifi was non existent for the first three days before an engineer arrived and sorted the problem out. Breakfast is a simple affair with bread ham cheese fruit pastries yoghurt and sometimes a variation of eggs. We parked in the hotel parking facility about 400 metres away, €8 per day, which has around 12 tight spaces. Occasionally there were free spaces outside the hotel. There is no swimming pool. If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel this is your place.

This hotel has a great breakfast included in price. The room service was extremely clean. Great location on a very large piazza, a few flight of stairs above the beach. The bed and pillows left something to be desired. Nothing terrible, just flat hard pillows. I think it is traditional in Italy. This was a great town with plenty of great restaurants with a view and was a perfect jumping off point for the whole west end of Sicily. Riserva del Zingaro (Nature park-need to bring or buy water there and wear Teva type or closed toe shoes), Segesta, Erice, Palarmo, Island of Motzia, Masala, Selenunte. All places have great swimming beaches. Beach Zabbaro had a nice restaurant on the beach and a little shop with locally made things nearby. Local pastries are a must. Most all are made with Almond flour.

We stayed here for 2 nights before moving on to Selinunte, everything about this hotel was excellent from service and room. We upgraded to a sea view on line and were not disappointed. Great location and very helpful staff. Some do speak English but they were very patient with my attempts to use the basic Italian that I know. This is a great base for visiting Segesta, Trapani, San Vito do Capo,Palermo and Selinunte. Some lovely Pizza and Fish restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again as it is reasonably priced and they provide an excellent breakfast.

Stayed 3 nights in May. Other reviews say it all. Good hotel, good position and good staff. Were we to return this would be the choice. Pedestrianised Corso Garibaldi within minutes and plenty of restaurants nearby, la Timpa just around the corner and perched above the bay was excellent for lunch with a view.

Room tip: Superior with sea view, we had 122.
