This the ideal B&B to stay at should you want to visit Bosa. Marco & Alice are your hosts and will point you in the right direction, if you ask (language permitting). Breakfast is an array of homemade cakes & biscuits, which are wonderful. In Italy it's hard to find any B&B that does a cooked breakfast, this is due to Italian law. Fabulous interiors greet you in this tall & narrow buiding (although not for those who find it hard to get up stairs), with extremely comfortable beds and great bathrooms. And you say why should you visit Bosa, reason being it's a beautiful place! Bosa's buildings are mainly from the 1600's and are Spanish in style thanks to the Catalans who governed this part of Sardinia then. Bosa is set overlooking the River Temo around a kilometre from the sea. On the riverside the fishermen bring their daily catch which you should be able to eat that evening in a local restaurant. Sardinia is great place in the summer when everthing is in full swing but be warned August is1: very expensive 2: very hot &
3: jam packed with Italians as it their favourite place to go. They do have good taste! Come at other times of the year if you want to walk, cycle or just get away from the crowds. On my last visit which was in February the weather was beautiful in the lowlands with snow still up in the mountains. February is time for Mardi Gras and Bosa is a good place to enjoy the festival. Bring your appetite! If you're coming down from Alghero make sure you go on the coast road as it's a beautiful journey! For you romantics Bosa is the ideal spot and La Torre di Alice is the place to stay!

We had a two night stay at La Torre di Alice. The room was wery nice, with lot of colours and it was made with style. It was also wery clean. The service was nice and we loved Alice and Marco. A big hug to them from us. Nice to live in a tower. The location was perfect in the old town of Bosa. Ewerything was near and it was easy to get around.

We had an amazing time in Bosa, staying at Marco and Alice's beautiful B&B. Situated at the end of the cobbled high street the B&B is in a perfect location - close to everything that Bosa has to offer, whilst being away from all the noise of the main square and main road.

The kitchen and loung are lovely spaces to relax and mingle and meet fellow guests, whilst the room we had was simply beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the view from I balcony of the Castle and a little backstreet picturesque and the bathroom was clean, modern and had everything we needed.

We arrived on Easter Sunday...not a good day for transport in Sardinia! We caught a train from Cagliari to Macomer, just 20km away, only to find that the bus and little green treen weren't running, which meant we were stranded in Macomer.

Luckily for us the fire station was open and the local firemen were able to Marco, who drove over to pick us up and take us back to the Torre de Alice. It was an incredibly kind thing to do and something that really set the tone for the remainder of our holiday, demonstarting the warmth and kindness of the Sardinian people.

We had a great time with Marco and Alice and recommend that if you want to stay in Bosa, don't waste your time looking for anything else, book this NOW!

Marco also has a gorgeous little restaurant in Bosa on Lungo Temo Alcide De Gasperi. The home made pasta was amazing as was the location right on the Bosa river bank. Another place you must visit if you're visiting Bosa!

The B&B is lovely , in a quaint old style house. The only downside is that the owner was not very friendly. We were given no information about Bosa or what there is to do there and had the minimum of interaction necessary. I'm not sure if the language barrier was the problem .

The B&B was immaculate and very cute, almost like being in a cottage. The parking lot was a little tricky to find, especially with so many tiny streets in the vicinity, but the location is very nice. The only negative aspect was that the owner wasn't particularly friendly and did not provide us with information (such as how to connect to the internet) when we arrived, then disappeared as soon as we were shown the room.
