I live near this place and often end up here, partly to sit near the entrance and look out onto the street, which is particularly fun in summer when the windows are open. I've had a number of the dishes, and I can't say there is not anything I haven't enjoyed. It just hasn't blown me away. Or perhaps I miss the Betty's Wok and Noodle that used to inhabit the space. There are many decent Asian restaurants in the area, and feels pretty much on par with the others. It's really better than a 3, but not quite a 4. Still, it's a decent place to land before the Symphony or theatre, and even for those occasions when you just want a quick bite.

Very good red curry tofu. Service was prompt and professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The floor was a little dirty but overall a great place to take a break from the busy street and enjoy excellent Thai.

As an restaurant with Asian flavor, I didn't see many Asians dining there, so don't have high expectation there - maybe it is not authentic. After trying a few times, I can safely conclude that

It is not authentic Asian food, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it is worse- sometimes it is better. For example, the Bibimbap is improved compared with other Korean restaurant by the tenderness, the rice noodle is also very delicious, and particularly the chicken wings are the best, even better than Bon Chon -another my local favorite.

All in all, it is a combination of Korean, Japanese and other part of Asian food (not Chinese, but Singapore), it is different from the way I tried in those restaurant, but the food is really, really great.

This is a nice restaurant! The place is simple and seating is not fancy, but staff is friendly and food is great! It is just 5 min walk from Harvard Square and it is usually less crowded than other restaurants in Harvard Square. Great option for Sushi lovers!

The Ginger Exchange in Cambridge Massachusetts is a Pan-Asian restaurant that presents a sleek, beautiful contemporary atmosphere that is also laid-back and fun. The menu is adventurous and quite creative with new takes on various Asian favorites. Thai, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines are all well-represented. The emphasis is on delicious food and having a great time.

Appetizers include dishes like Korean Fried Chicken, Crab Rangoon, lettuce wraps and Vietnamese summer rolls. They have an extensive sushi, sashimi and maki menu including 26 very interesting specialty rolls, and a variety of rice dishes and noodle dishes, including Singapore Rice Noodles and Malaysian Mee Goreng beef, as well as Pad Thai and Drunkard's Noodles. There are also a number of udon and ramen soups.

We had the GX Platter which presents a variety of appetizers and each was excellent, light and flavorful. The udon soup was thick and tasty, the pho gai was classic and delicious, and the kung pao chicken was a very unique version which was wonderful, not at all typical of this well-known dish.

The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Although we did not sit at the bar, it was attractive and well-stocked with a variety of Asian beers and liquors.

We found the Ginger Exchange to be everything it sets out to be: delicious food, a great atmosphere and a fun time.
