Find a map for the walking tour at http://web.mit.edu/infocenter/privategrouptour/150Walking%20Tour%20.pdf. Or pick one up at the visitor center under the dome on Mass Ave. Don't miss Gehry's masterpiece Stata Center, be sure to see it from the courtyard behind and not just from Vassar Street. Go inside the chapel. And enjoy all the outdoor sculpture!

Hey it's my Alma Mater...
I like it therefore very much.

MIT has to offer quite a couple of architectural gems. Make sure to check out the following:

Ray and Maria STATA Center
The new Media Lab building
The white steel (?) sculpture between the Stratton Center and 77 Mass Ave

Probably the coolest place on earth if you are interested in science and technology. I was walking through the halls one afternoon and saw a student walking by me with something akin to a ghostbusters backpack on his back and a giant gun. I asked him what it was and it turns out it was a homemade potato gun with laser sight that fires 3 football fields of distance. Pretty cool in my book.
