What a great thing to see. Just shame the cafe is amateur. The fact they don't allow liquids except water in the visitors centre and wound path believe it the water is $2.50 for a small bottle. Visitors centre old and tired. Views though are great and worth a visit just be careful the entry fee is far too much for what you get.

We parked on the south side and walked back across the damn. We didn't do any official tours, but just spending 30 or so minutes here is unforgettable. We had previously been to the little museum in Boulder City, which set up the context beautifully (in the original Boulder Dam Hotel).

Very impressive with the visitor as a focal point. Plentiful parking and great views of this Engineering marvel. If you go to Vegas it's a site you will need to see. Get away the the tables and embrace the nearby sites!

Another fantastic and spectacular sight. Amazing how it was built and the hard work of Americans. We can truly accomplish anything!

This experience should be considered a 3.5 since it is definitely above average. The size and scope of this project are dwarfed only by the magnitude of the impact this power station has had on the Southwest.

What started as a dispute between seven states became one of the engineering marvels of the 20th century. The ingenuity it took to harness a raging river into a turbine hydroelectric station utilizing water traveling at 47 mph at 96,000 gallons per second is staggering. It's definitely worth a two hour visit.
