Stayed here for 2 nights and that was plenty.
Pool was small and noisy with very loud music being played..
Staff friendly however the pool staff couldn't speak English and so my children were not included in activities..
Bar and shop closed most of the day only opening for 2 hours am and not much for in the evening.
Access was very tight for caravans.
Chemical waste for caravans wasn't good couldn't wash out and only 1 there.
Lights on a time click so was very dark at night.
I was bitten alive by mosquitos be aware..

We were roaming southern France for week and during that time we camped in 7 different campsite. This is by far our favorite one. We rented a pitch w/ a power outlet by the river. Had great time there and we loved it.

Room tip: If you are getting a pitch, go for something by the river, we got to see ducks.

Stayed again this year for 10 days in July with my 11 year old son. We both had a fantastic time and have many very happy memories of the camp site.
The scenery is beautiful and the site is well looked after. The owners are friendly, welcoming and always have time to say bonjour or give a wave.
The pool is crystal clear and very well maintained. The pitches are very spacious and the ones by the river are very peaceful.
We ate in the restaurant on alternate nights and again found the food very reasonably priced and very tasty.
Both ladies in reception were very helpful, particularly when we had some queries about booking the local travel 'envibus' into the village.
The river is beautiful and has a small area where you can jump into a deep part of the river from a raised ledge on the bank.
Cheap flights to Nice booked early and a great local supermarket in the village completes the great holiday package.
I'll be booking again next year - for relaxation this cannot be beaten.

Good access to site for hikers - regular bus (400) from Nice Airport to La Colle Village, then the Envibus from Rond Point des Arnoux (opposite Marche U). Total cost 2.5 euro each rather than an expensive taxi.
Great staff - all very helpful, polite and cheerful to myself and 2 sons who speak limited French (and arrived late following flight delays)
Great food at the restaurant - quality meals including pizza, omlettes, steak, burgers, chicken nuggets, mussels, fish, crepes, ice creams. We ate at the restaurant 8/9 evenings.
Good drink selection - at reasonable prices.
Flexibility - to have electric, microwave, fridge or just the plot (We had the plot only and used solar chargers for phones).
Good facilities - small football area, nice size pools with free loungers, pinball, table football, table tennis, etc.
Beautiful surroundings - fantastic scenery, beautiful river, good hedges separating camping plots.
Facilities - regularly cleaned, showers / toilets / laundry / sinks.
Weather - fantastic, 2 hrs of rain the rest beautiful sunshine.
Entertainment - lots organised by a very enthusiastic and likeable man.
The plot - spacious, clean, well marked out / divided by hedges. We were in plot G13 right by the river and away from the main centre of the site.
Insects - apart from the odd fly we were not bothered by insects. We did light a mosquito coil each night as we sat outside the tent and I had no bites through the whole holiday.

Having reviewed a number of sites before making this booking I decided to take the risk with this site that had some mid level reviews. I have been absolutely delighted with the site and will be booking up to return next year.

It is a campsite and as such there is the usual noise on the site. We found all the site users polite and considerate in the evenings.
The plot we stayed in was at the edge of the site close to the road and as such there was a small amount of traffic noise about 7:30am that most people would not notice (my sons slept very well without being disturbed).
Wifi - was available and worked well 25 Euros for a week. You could argue it could have been made available free but the pitch cost would then go up. I thought the charge was fair and worked out at less than £20 for the week.

In honesty I don't think there was anything I actually disliked.

Room tip: We stayed at the end of the site G13 next toi the river. No camp noise but a little traffic noise about 7:30am.
