The restaurant is located inside a building with other shops. Paid parking lot is available across the street from the restaurant but our car was already parked next to the weekend Farmers Market. We walked into the restaurant at 2:30pm and waited half an hour before seating for 8 of us. We were given two wireless units to notify us when table is ready. This permitted us to shop in the building. The waiting area had nice comfortable couch seating for those of us who were tired of walking.
The restaurant noise level did not hinder conversations. I did not need to shout to be heard.
Fish and Chips dish is my favorite selection at a seafood place. This place has the best Fish and Chips of our entire trip from Seward, Anchorage to Fairbanks. The Fries were really good probably because they are seasoned. I had the fish and chips where the fish is cod. Alaskan halibut was offered for additional $10. Besides the great food, service was friendly. The only minor negative is that I felt the server was trying to up sell the meal starting with the drinks. When someone in our party ordered the fish and chips, server asked if he wanted cod or halibut. He chose halibut thinking they were the same price until we informed me otherwise. I think the server should have mentioned the additional cost. Not everyone reads entire menu. I missed the words “No substitutions” at another restaurant.
