The Diamond Center Hotel is the Best Hotel to stay in while in the Anchorage area. The staff is extremely responsive to all needs, the rooms are new, spacious and the hotel is nestled in an area that makes it easy to get to destinations in Anchorage. It is quiet, safe, has a great shuttle service and serves great breakfasts. This is a unique hotel that reflects the heritage of Alaska. If your looking for a great place to stay while in the Anchorage area choose the Diamond Center and you will not be disappointed.

Room tip: If your looking for a tip, just take what the hotel has to offer and they all are excellent.

While visiting Anchorage for business, I happened to be here during a snow storm. The car rental (Alamo) gave me a two wheel drive compact with summer, low profile tires. Needless to say, I got stuck! The parking lot of the hotel is actually managed/maintained by the adjoining Dimond Center Mall and had not been plowed. The hotel Director of Sales, Michael Jesperson, came out to help push me out. He then brought me fresh coffee! So nice and helpful!!! Awesome rooms too!!!

Excellent service from check in to check out, very friendly and accommodating front desk staff! Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The hotel has a bit of a business vibe, but I would happily stay here with my family again.

Dark, ugly carpet... bad lighting .... lobby had new furniture that does not go with the rest of the place. Not fresh or clean feeling.
It is clear their attempts at changing the place up was done with no taste,
they need to hire a designer that can bring them into being a go to place again, seems like they quite trying just because they feel the location is good.

Jeanie,
We value your feedback as we appreciate all feedback. I’m sorry you dislike the changes we have made in the hotel, we did incorporate a professional designer in implementing the changes and prior to investing significant capital in those changes. We are still a work in progress and to better serve our valued patrons have added the Old Cannery Bar, there’s a new work out room getting ready to come on line next month, 4 junior suites being added this Spring, and projecting to upgrade the interior of our hotel guest rooms as well which includes lighting this year. Your opinion is appreciated and valued and I’m sorry the changes we have made thus far have not met your expectations. Thank you for your patronage and your constructive feedback.
Respectfully,
Dimond Center Hotel
Management Team
