Several years ago, when our regular tapas restaurant closed, we drove past Pomodoro and asked to see the menu. We went back later, and it has become our "go to" tapas restaurant. We have always been treated well, and the food has always been very good. Usually it is just my husband and me, but we have also taken friends and relatives. We usually go on the spur of the moment, without a reservation, but they do take reservations, and require them for special occasions, such as Valentine's day.

Ate there three times over the course of a week, and each time was a fantastic dining experience. The chef was kind enough to adapt several dishes to my dietary constraints and they were great! wide assortment of tapas and pastas - we had to wait a few minutes for our capelinni and crab becasue the chef's wife was bringing the crab up from the dock when we ordered. Good wine list, and the menu is a blend of Spanish abd Italian influences. Covered parking available and on the street after 6 PM. Very highly recommended!

Five of us had a very satisfying expereince last Sat night. As a big plus, there is covered parking at night which is complimentary and abuts the restaurant. Our reservation was honored and we were given a perfect sized round table by the window. We've eaten here before and again, the owner/chef prepared our meal. The lighting is low and romantic, but there is enough to read the menu! Other than slightly skimpy ceasar salads for $6 each (they were very good however), our food was excellent. Two of us had the dungeness crab/angelhair pasta special with black truffles, the most expensive dish offered ($25). I brought half home and again wanted to lick my plate. servers & kitchen are also very accompodating about "special orders", My husband's dish was specified in the menu as shrimp, but he requested sausage. No problem. Nice complimenytary creme brulee for the birthday boy, with a candle. All 5 of us ate salads, entrees and we shared two bottles of wine for $210 before tax and tip. I should note when we arrived at 6:45 very few tables were full, but by 9 when we left it was HOPPING, with every table full. Clearly a late night favorite. If you haven't tried this Eastlake spot, DO GO.

Some friends chose this place for five of us to meet up for dinner. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered a special as an appetizer, a hummus ravioli, and it was just okay. I ordered the manicotti, and I thought it was very good. It seemed a little expensive, but I would probably dine there again.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Pomodoro. The chef and his wife were so warm and attentive. The restaurant ambiance was very romantic and cozy.
The food is wonderful and we love the varied specials they offer. Great wine list too. Oh and make sure you leave room for dessert. We had the Bananas Foster and the Chef made it for us right at our table. Wonderful evening, delicious food and we'll definetely be returning sooner vs later!
