Love Discovery Park!! I got quite the workout walking up and down the hills and through the trails to get down to the beach and then back to the car. Seriously beautiful any time of the year but something magical about the spring/summer months. Bring a pack with essentials to enjoy your visit. Definitely pack water and some snacks because you will want to play on the beach. Be sure to go during low tide - amazing! Great picture opportunities!

This is a very special place, loved by Seattleites. The big park above the bluff and the paths throughout the park make it possible to be surrounded by other people while still having a marvelous sense of expanse and closeness to nature. And the views! On a clear day, there is almost no place better for enjoying the snow covered Olympic mountain range and the Puget Sound.

Great place to storm watch and collect drift wood and hike, walk or learn about an old fort.

Always a blast to walk around through the endless paths of Discovery Park. During summer people have bond fires down here. You could easily get lost in this park it is so big...

We were there in the evening. It was a little overcast that day, but I would love to go back on a clear evening and watch the sunset.
