The renovated rooms at the Warwick Seattle Hotel are cozy and nice. The bed is huge and comfortable. The staff was pleasant in person and on the phone. This hotel is within walking distance to most downtown Seattle attractions.

Everything was as advertised at the Warwick. Central location in Belltown, clean, comfortable room, nice pool and very friendly staff. With a low Internet rate, its hard to beat this place for the price.

Room Tip: The deluxe room had a great view of the city, free wifi and was spacious.

I have stayed at the Warwick twice in the past year, and I have enjoyed my stay both times. Both times have been through "pay-before-you-know-the hotel's name" websites...
Some positives about the Warwick...
-The entire staff makes you feel welcome! The front desk staff is very helpful and polite. Check-in and check-out are always smooth and easy. The valet is friendly and very quick. The housekeeping staff and doormen are also friendly and polite.
-The location is great for exploring the city on foot. I would called the location of the hotel "SoBellTo" (South of Belltown). The hotel is situated within walking distance of Pike Street Market, Westlake Center (Light Rail Station), Belltown, Seattle Center/Space Needle/EMP, and Downtown. There are many bars, restaurants and clubs within walking distance. There is also a small supermarket across the street (Ralph's).
-The rooms are fairly large and well furnished. The bathroom is decently sized, and finished in marble...cool. There is a small refrigerator and a coffee maker as well. I thought the rooms were fairly quiet as well. Not a lot of outside noise or noise from other rooms.
-Free Seattle Times newspaper

Some "not-so-positives"...

-WiFi...$11 for 24 hours. A decent connection...but, c'mon...hardly any hotels charge their guests for WiFi anymore....
-25" Tube TV
-Ice Machines are not located on every floor.

The Valet Parking is $30 (tax included). Probably right around the mean for parking in Seattle...maybe actually on the lower side of the mean...

Overall the positives outweigh the negatives at the Warwick. If you can book this property for less than $100 it is a "value play" in the relatively expensive world of downtown Seattle hotels.

We originally had reservations to stay in a different hotel for the night of April 14 (submarine birthday ball), but 2 days before the ball, we changed our reservations to the Warwick because they had a smashing good deal on a gorgeous suite that included parking (unheard of)! When we arrived we were pleased to find an "unloading zone" in their parking garage, and the garage was very convenient, unlike some other Seattle hotels we have stayed in. Checking in was painless and only took 2 seconds. The staff was courteous, and friendly. We checked into our suite(1407) and it was everything we were promised…..flat screen TV, nice comfy furniture, and an outrageously awesome view of the Space Needle. We got ready for our event and left for the night. It wasn't until we got back at 1 a.m. did we realize that we could hear our neighbors TV through the wooden door that adjoined our rooms. I am not usually a complainer so I tried to ignore it, and was finally able to fall asleep around 2 when they turned off their tv. Well at 6:15 am we got to wake up to the sound of our neighbors getting ready for their day. They were being SO loud…..talking, laughing, and playing music…..again I tried to be understanding, thinking they would be done and leaving soon…..but nope. At 7:30 I called the front desk to complain, and they sent someone up to ask them to be quite. While they seemed to make an attempt, I am afraid it was pointless because the wooden door did very little to keep the noise out. I am a seasoned traveler, and know what to expect for noise level when staying in a hotel, but it was too much. We decided not to waste any more time trying to sleep, and head out. During check out I voiced my frustration to Lucy the front desk attendant, and she was very apologetic and adjusted our bill for the inconvenience. So my tip for the hotel is one of 2 things. Either warn the people who will be staying in those rooms to keep it quiet, or to replace the wooden door with a metal door.

Because of Lucy we will be back. She managed to win me over with her genuine concern and understanding (very mother like) ….but this was our first night away from our 4 kids in almost 2 years, and it was such a bummer to miss out on the sleep I haven't had in ages because of some noisy neighbors.

Room Tip: Ask to be in a room that does not adjoin to any other rooms, unless you are renting that room too!

The hotel is conveniently located. The room was not so spacious, but it was clean, well decorated with a desk, lights, and a large TV. The staff was nice, and the internet worked well. I did check out the pool, but decided against using it because the water looked a bit dirty. And it was located around a staff entrance / exit area. There were 5-6 people walking by in the few minutes I was there. i.e. not exactly a relaxing atmosphere. I think I could find better value hotels in downtown Seattle.
