Owner description: Fast, fun, and exhilarating, this adventure is sure to excite nature lovers and thrill seekers alike! Get a running start on solid ground and take flight into the treetops of the Alaskan rainforest, and over glacially fed waterfalls! The fun begins with an entertaining historic tour through downtown Skagway, then along 9 miles of stunning coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, you will climb into our customized unimog—an all-wheel drive vehicle necessary for getting up our rugged mountain road. During your adventurous ride up the mountain, look out at the impressive rainforest and glacially fed waterfalls. Get psyched—you’re about to fly over this wild landscape! At the top of the mountain, you will suit up in gear that meets the most rigorous standards of safety while your highly trained guide tells you what to expect and how to safely navigate the course. You will then be led to the take-off zone, where you’ll be clipped in and fly away! You’ll soar through a course of 11 ziplines, the longest measuring 750ft—that’s longer than 2 football fields combined! This is more than just any zip course, though. Our lines will bring you directly above glacially fed waterfalls! For the more cautious adventurers, rest assured that you can always control your own speed with a brake system—but we “double-dog” dare you to let go and zoom up to 45 miles per hour! Of course, that’s a little too fast to take those perfect pictures of the Alaskan wilderness. That’s why we added 4 state of the art suspension bridges to our course. From these bridges, you’ll be able to capture stunning photos of you and your loved ones in the heart of Alaska’s wild beauty. This is bound to be an “E.X.C.U.R.S.I.O.N. of a lifetime,” one you will surely remember for years to come!

Got to the zip line gear tent and immediately heard from a staff member that we were part of their last group for the day and that he was excited for it to be over. Went to the second tent to get my chest harness and that staff member complained about people wanting to zip line at 7:20 in the morning and “who would even was to zip line that early”. So if you choose an early time just know the staff will be complaining about you the rest of the day. At the end of our zip line the staff jumped in the shuttle bus with us and were very loud and obnoxious. When there were cool eagle sites to see the staff hogged all the windows in the back where it was happening instead of letting people who actually paid for the tour look at the wildlife. Very poor staffing. I would recommend zip lining at another port and taking a tour at this one.

We are so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience due to one of your guide's bad attitude. We take so much pride in the incredible zipline and our staff, and it is completely unacceptable for one of our guides to complain to our incredible guests. We have brought this to the attention of our zipline manager and we'll make sure it won't happen again. Once again, I apologize for this incident. It is in no way representative of what we are as a company.

Had the best time zip lining with the family today. The adventure started with a bus ride to camp with Kelsey who was funny and informative. She told us the history of Skagway on drive up. Once we got to the base of the zip lines we were fitted with our gear and on our way to the zips. Our guides, Blake and Christian, made the experience one we will remember forever. Our 3 kids ranged in ages from 13 to 19. They taught us tricks on each zip and played fun games throughout our time together. They were nothing but perfect hosts in the treetops of Skagway. Hands down, this was the best zip lining in the world!

Our driver from the ship to the site was Ben he was entertaining the whole way. Very funny and stories that had you guessing if they were real or a joke. Once onsite we were taken into small groups onto the course. Even though I am scared of heights and have been ziplining before it is still very difficult. Our guides were Lego and Christian. With their relaxed attitudes and attention to each and every one of us in our group, it helped put me at ease and I was able to run off of a cliff and put my feet up and hang upside down. Very cool ......especially with my fear! 11 lines total and very entertaining and fun the whole way. This is a must for Zip lining folks
