We are frequent patron of this restaurant whenever we return home to the Big Island, and although we initially overlooked this joint, it is now firmly in our ‘must-go’.
To begin with, the owner strive to maintain a clean and decent environment. It is quite evident with its open kitchen where patrons can have a quick peek the moment they walk through the front door. It may not be a fancy, done up spot but the cleanliness works just fine for us.
The food is well cooked with the chef respecting the ingredients. Seldom would we have a miss where food may be too salty, too sweet, too oily, etc.
From breakfast to lunch and dinner, the meals are value for money and delicious. We highly recommend the waffles for breakfast and the Kalbi for dinner.
