All the dishes we ordered - dosas, uttapam, vadas, lassi, and tea along with their sides of chutneys and sambhars were really good. Pricey for a food truck but we were craving Indian food during our week's stay in Kona and this really hit the spot.

It is also in a nice park by an outdoor mall. So, can eat and shop later.

This was so good, we ate here twice in 5 days while in kona. Probably the best dosas in the US, the service is fast and quick. We got the tangy tomato dosa, masala dosa, chili cheese uttapam, Mysore dosa, fried idli and filter coffee and they were all fantastic. I cannot recommend this place more.

It is located in the heart of downtown, by a gas station. We called ahead place our order because we were going to be late (close to the closing time), but the guy made the dosas fresh for us when we got there, which was very appreciated.

I don’t know where to begin, if the food had been any good at all it would still be very expensive for the portion. In the words of Woody Allan “ the food was terrible and such small portions “. The Dosa was tasteless pancake, that dip into 3 unpleasant dips, one was like runny porridge without salt or sugar for flavor, one thick paste of crushed spices in oil and the 3rd was a watered down version of a vegetable curry of the cheapest variety. Vegetable biryani was a claggy mass of overcooked rice with little flavor.
The generous 20% Kama’aini discount softened the $42 lunch bill but we won’t be returning.

Literally stumbled upon this place biking back from the beach and I’m so glad I did! I was starving and being Both vegan and a longtime aficionado of Indian cuisine, I couldn’t have been dealt a better hand today. I ordered the Vegan biryani and it was delicious!! It’s spicy, so for those who can’t handle it, I would order something else. The chef will give you a heads up before he starts making it anyway as he did for me. Good customer service as well and price is very reasonable at $12. I will be coming back and frequently.

If you like spicy, you will love the potu (red gun powder) they use. Its really spicy . Amazing fresh and delicious dishes, They have a tent with a seating for 3 families. If its raining or busy then you might want to use the trunk of your car. The food truck has two sepatare locations for lunch and dinner. They are parked at the Dixon gas station in Kona and there are few parking spaces for the cars where you can park and eat in your trunk without being worried about space or table under the small tent they offer. Good experience. You can also call them and place your order before hand.
