My husband and I went on the Sunset dinner cruise. We had barely left the pier when the captain announced there was a whale sighting. Everyone was grabbing their cameras and running for the front of the boat. I was sipping my MaiTai, and wasn't too excited until I heard the screams of delight and noticed even the crew members were grabbing their cameras. We saw an AMAZING whale show. There were 2 or 3 male whales trying to get the attention of a female whale, and they were REALLY showing off. I got some great pictures, and the staff said it was the best whale show they had ever seen. We were so enthralled at the whales, we almost missed the sunset! The buffet dinner was great, the open bar made some tasty mai tai's, and the entertainment was fabulous. The whale show was not expected, but was a nice bonus to an already wonderful excursion. We had a whale watching tour scheduled for a few days later with another company, but called and canceled the minute we got off the boat. We knew it couldn't top what we had already seen -- and we saved ourselves a couple hundred bucks!
