Villa Philadelphia
Reviewed 29 August 2016 via mobile

The studio's are small, so we were happy there was no rainy day. Furthermore, the 'villa' should be renovated soon: the balcony can have a new coating and screws are rusted.
However, the villa is well situated: between the city centre and the beach.

This was our first time in Bulgaria and read about Villa Philadelphia in the guidebook. Everything was spot on! Excellent place for birding, beach, food. Close to restaurants. highly recommend.

One of the great things about the place is its proximity to several scenic travel routes. They even have a do it yourself birding map as well.

Met by Bobi at the hotel, reserved one of the 3rd floor studios; vary spacious, well designed and bathroom that is out of the world (jacuzzi for two). Highly recommend

Room Tip: All rooms have great view of the sea - if you want to splurge go for the third floor studios. If not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Villa Philadelphia is ideally located in the central part of Sinemoretz, within 10-minute walks from two gorgeous beaches and a couple minutes from numerous restaurants and grocery shops. Our view is one of the best in town with the sweeping intensely blue arc of the sea, expanses of green meadows and parts of the town landscape itself.Villa Philadelphia is designed to maximize our guests’ comfort and enjoyment. The front of the building, with Bobby’s Café, faces the street and is easily accessible from the heart of town. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel. Our guestrooms are located on the opposite side of the building, away from the street and facing the sea. There, the L-shaped building, hugging a quiet garden courtyard, is crisscrossed by three levels of wood decks, maximizing the outdoor space and affording a magical sea view.Villa Philadelphia strives to be environmentally conscious. Solar panels provide most of the energy. Our 1st and 2nd floor guestrooms are kept naturally cool by the double-layer thickness of the brick walls and the orientation of the rooms, capturing full-day shade and sea breezes. Our 3rd floor studios are an exception: they are equipped with air-conditioners, though it is rarely necessary to turn them on.Villa Philadelphia has 4 guestrooms on the 1st floor, 2 on the 2nd floor, and 2 luxury studios on the 3rd floor. Room service and free wireless internet are available to all our guests. We are featured in the major guidebooks. Look us up in Lonely Planet, Bradt's, Frommer's, Fodor's, etc. ... more   less
