My mother and I had a reservation for a tent site for three nights. When we got there we were shown to our site which was an empty RV site complete with asphalt and gravel. With no other choice since we were on a budget we set up camp. My mother slept in the truck each night because the gravel poked through our sleeping bag mats.
The location was nice. It was just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park which is where we spent most of our time.
The facilities were clean. There was an indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was huge and did wonders for my back after sleeping on gravel.
Our RV neighbors were great! It's a nice little community they have going there.
The one staff member that "helped" me most of the time seemed more interested in texting than helping me.
It would have made a world of difference if there had been an actual tent site.More
