“Good value accommodation, with excellent host.”
Reviewed 9 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Chris was a excellent host who communicated well. This is his home from home that he lets out, so has everything one would expect for a little home. It's compact, but well equipped, with a large tv and good selection of English language DVDs. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and dishes. Bathroom with powerful shower over the bath and loads of piping hot water.

The ski room is the best we have come across, lovely and warm, with heated racks for boots, plenty of space, well lit, a sink and seating. A downside is the distance to the ski lift, and slopes, with a steep slope along the road. Similarly the car-parking is also a few minutes away.

“Fantastic apartment in a great skiing location.”

Stayed for a week at this fantastic studio apartment in February. We have stayed in several hotels in the area before and this is easily up there with the best of them. We stayed as a couple but this apartment would also be ideal for a family or group of up to four.

The apartment is in a really good location with stunning views across the valley from the balcony. There is easy access to the ski area and the village. It takes about 3 minutes to walk down to the bottom of the road and a few more minutes to get to the nearest ski lift at Zwofelkogel. Depending on the snow conditions you can almost ski back to the apartment from blue run 32, which would end in a short downhill walk of about 200m back to the Apartment.
If you are feeling fit you could walk up the hill via the tarmac road about 400m to join run 32 and then ski down to the Reiterkogelbahn Lift.

In the village there are cash points, banks and a Spar supermarket about a 10-minute walk away and access to the many bars and restaurants. If you need to hire ski equipment there are several ski rental shops offering everything you need.

The apartment itself has everything for a great self-catering holiday. There is a bunk-bed area, which can be curtained off for privacy as well as a double sofa bed that is easy to fold out each night. Bedding is provided but you need to bring towels. There is plenty of storage space throughout the apartment. There is also a heated ski storage room on the ground floor. If you are travelling by car there is secure car parking provided about 10 minutes walk away. There is a short stay loading/unloading area at the apartment.

The superb galley kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for cooking with a counter top oven and a hob. The bathroom has a powerful shower as well as the added benefit of a full size bath.

There is fast free Wi-Fi in the apartment as well as a large flat screen TV with useful sockets to connect a laptop to the TV.

This is a superb location with everything you need for a great skiing holiday. Communication with the owner is first class and they provide lots of information prior to your stay. We are looking forward to our next visit to the area and we won’t hesitate at booking another stay at this fantastic apartment.

We have a great skiing week in Hinterglemm. The apartment is rather spacious and very functional with various kitchen and entertainment appliances at hand. The location is very good for those with strong uphill legs. The communication with the owner is simple and very effective. The views form the terrace are stunning

“Great Christmas Holiday”
Reviewed 13 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

This Christmas my husband, me and our toddler went skiing. Though we did not get the best weather we still had a fab time. The accommodation was really clean, cosy, decorated in style and very practical. I felt like I stayed over at some friend's house, not in a soulless hotel. I prefer to cook for my family, so I was very glad that everything I needed was at hand. The owner was very supportive and attentive. It was easy to get in touch with her before the journey and while we stayed there ( wi-if was available). She even decorated a Christmas tree, so we really had a festive mood over there. P.S. There was a separate room downstairs for equipment.
