a party of twelve on skiing trip, stayed here for a week. The food was excellent, the beds comfortable and rooms clean. Very good sauna, and relaxation facilities. Highly recommended with really helpful staff. Thankyou for such a good holiday.

Room Tip: If like to go to bed early, ask for a room that doesnt face onto the beer hall!!!

I was disappointed by the journey in this hotel. I think We've had the worst room of the hotel : 1st floor: almost no view and daylight, a pipe that exhaust water vapor, a very small balcony. From 7 am you an hear the noise of the chairs of the restaurant just under the room. In the evening you can hear the people from the room above chatting and having party. As smoking is permitted inside in Austria, smoke comes to the 1st floor very easily. The size of the room is ok. The bathroom has almost no shelves to put the stuff, you GOT to store the bathing things outside the bathroom. Meal is ok even if some are frozen food: the spare ribs and the duck. Don't come after 8 for breakfast or you will have only small things remaining. The spa opens only at 4 pm, not good for guest who don't ski. Positive aspects are: good wifi, cleanness, friendly staff and the après ski area. Very close to the ski lift.
Conclusion: when you look at the website pictures and receive the room 114 it's very disappointing.

This lace serves the best pork joint that I was not able to finish it all. Portion are generous and soup delicious. Nice selection of bieer but I went for Zillertal bier.

Service is up to standard and waiter very professional.

We went here as a party of 8, all male and aged between 37 and 51.

A couple of the lads had single rooms, I stayed in a twin and 3 of them were in a triple. The rooms were great, very clean with a regular change of towels and the beds were made everyday. The bathroom was big with a large bath and separate shower. The only downside of the bathroom was the size of the towels. They are on the small side and not great post shower.

The bar was good and the staff were always friendly. We ate there one night and the food was very good (apart from the cod. Keep clear as it's just a large fish finger). The lamb chops were fantastic.

I met the chap that owns the place on a couple of occasions. I thought he was frosty at first but turned out to be very welcoming. He plays cards in the hotel in the evening.

All in all a great base and very good value at approx £50 a night per person in a twin room including breakfast. Breakfast was quite good. Coffee wasn't great but there's more than enough to fill you up before a day on the slopes and draining beer.

Just stayed here for 6 nights - booked direct - austrian twin room 4th floor
All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly
The room was a good size and very clean, loads of cupboards and drawers
Bathroom with shower and separate wc
Our balcony overlooked the next door Bruck n Stadl apres bar which meant we could not have our window open at night and I used earplugs which was fine but you may wish to request a quieter room of course
The food is delicious, we were half board, the choice is fair and everything is well presented and very tasty
There is a spacious boot/ski room in the basement
There is parking opposite but we didn't need that
You can easily walk to the main Ahorn or Penken lifts and also the ski bus stops to other lifts
There is a cosy bar
The rooms have TV but no English channels
Room safe and hairdryer
Good WiFi throughout the hotel
This was my 4th visit to Mayrhofen and I would certainly recommend this hotel
We booked our own flights and travelled by train from Innsbruck to Mayrhofen - couldn't have been easier

Room Tip: Quiet room away from apres bar next door
