We recently stayed at the Kramerwirt Hotel for the second time. Our last visit was five years ago. We are pleased to say that he hotel was every bit as good as we remembered. We were given a room on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the square and church. It had recently been updated, and was extremely comfortable and spacious with a walk in shower, seating area and fridge. The food was excellent and the Krőll family and hotel staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly not be leaving it another five years before we go back again.

Room Tip: Ask for a shower and balcony, that way you get a separate shower.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and tried here for lunch. My in laws have stayed at the hotel twice and really enjoyed it. We sat in a lovely sheltered spot at the front of the hotel. My husband had the apple strudel and said the best he had amongst the cafes around mayrhofen. I did not want a big lunch and I had the kids spaghetti bolognese which was not a problem and was tasty. Both dishes were generous and the house white was also good.

Dear Jackiefromuckfield,
thank you for taking the time to share your experience with other users of trip advisor. We are glad that you found our location beside the church. All pastries are homemade, also the ice cream. We will pass your praise to our patissière Katharina, she is producing our sweet pleasures :) Enjoy your holidays in Mayrhofen! Family Kröll

Just returned from a week in the Alpenhotel Kramerwirt Annexe skiing with Neilson holidays. The hotel is just outside the main town about 10 mins walk from the lifts but has a bus stop which means its a great location away fom the party so you can rest but not too long a walk to the Penken lift (we rented a locker for skis and would recommend this)

We had a family room, one twin one double with separate mattresses. Room was clean comfortable and spacious. Shower good and a nice balcony. You can hear the church bells with the windows open but not with them closed so didn't have issues.

Meals taken in the hotel 50m away and were epic! huge buffet breakfast with loads of choices, love that their diary is all of their farm and all bread home made. Dinners good too, sizable portions with 4 courses and a unlimited salad bar. Big shout out to Verena who served us shes such fun. all other staff lovely too and a few excellent gestures though out the week and the team were always happy to help.

i'd highly recommend this as a place to stay in Mayrhofen and would certainly go back.

We are comming to Kramerwirt every year, we really love the hotel. But we were said that the saunameister from last year was not there. Don't remember his name it was a blond guy from Germany, he was really professional and he always gave us a warm welcome. Now we went there and we didn't feel welcome, the saunameister didn't look like to enjoy his job, are who knows maybe he didn't had his day. Walking around with an angry face and when we wanted to get another towel because mine was wet , I got a really angry shout; "das is die letzte"! A pitty that the other one is not there anymore...

We stayed here for a weeks skiing. A very nice family owned and run hotel. They care about your stay being enjoyable. The breakfast and evening meals were really quite good for the hotel cost.

Our main complaint is the hot and cold water supply in the bathroom of room 316. There is no thermostat control on the shower, the water temp changes suddenly from warm to very hot when other rooms turn on taps.

Kramerwirt is we'll positioned at the lower end of the town away from the Apre Ski bars. However, it is next to the church. The bells ringing on the 15 mins and hourly from 6.15am until 10pm. They are quite loud but I would stay here again. We have stayed in many hotels at this price level, considering everything, a good place to stay.
