Food and service were both to a really high standard. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were always happy to help, especially Tina in the restaurant. The only negative was that it's a bit of an uphill walk to the ski lift, but getting a ski locker at the top solved that problem for us.

Arrived late at night and received a friendly welcome, very kindly there was a cold platter of cheese and ham in our bedroom. The bedroom was lovely with a separate seating area, loads of storage space. Great bathroom with double basin, under floor heating and power shower. We were given the same table every night as mentioned in previous reviews. On Valentines day received a chocolate heart, one day a week they give you a voucher for cake in the afternoon (we didn't use it as it would have cut into our skiing time). Another evening there was a free glass of wine. Food and service very good, you are allocated the same waitress every night and friendly and courteous she was. Situated at the end of town, but if you don't fancy the 6 - 8 min walk to the lifts the ski bus stops outside. I personally liked the church bells, all part of the atmosphere. We were in Room 110 at the back of the main hotel, housekeeping staff were very thorough. The only negative I can think of was that they charge for tap water. Would definitely return and recommend to others. All in all a great property

Spent a week in this hotel while skiing this winter. Really nice hotel, excellent staff and large rooms. Great it's on the bus route and close to the train station. Only downside was that occasionally dinner took a while if it was busy, probably because everyone go there at once but it was noticeable at times.
