My husband and I were on a late season trip to the Black Hills when our motel, the Rocket Motel (which is also great!), suggested we try the Buglin' Bull...about the only restaurant left open in town at that time of year. We didn't expect much, but OMG! We were thrilled with our experience at the Buglin' Bull. The meals we had were incredible!!! My husband had the Boar Osso Buco where the meat fell off the bone. His only complaint was there wasn't more of it or the delicious baby red mashed potatoes and sautéed fresh vegetables. I had the Pan Fried Walleye, fried in crunch sweet potato crisps, drizzled in burr blanc served over raisin wild rice and fresh sautéed vegetables. We still think about those dinners. I'd make a trip back to the Black Hills just to eat there again. Amazing. Go. Eat. Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.
