Stayed here on a couples weekend. This is a LOUD hotel. Every sound reverberates and hotel staff are on the halls outside rooms talking all the time. We must have been outside some housekeeping closet b/c the door slammed about 1000 times every afternoon. Rooms were well appointed but the lighting in the bath area wasn’t great for putting on your make-up. Rooms do have a microwave and a safe. Location is good, close to the Quarter without the noise, unless you consider the hotel staff. Would we stay again? Not if there was another option.

The room we stayed in had very high ceilings and a cool open design. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet (4th floor facing alley). The location is central to everything with a short walk. We made use of the lobby as well, to hang out and relax.

I would rate the hotel higher except for a few annoyances. First, the shower had the problem where the door leaks, so after your shower there is a lake on the bathroom floor. It’s just really unpleasant. The other problem was the lighting. Unbelievably, the designers included a “night light” in the bathroom mirror that can’t be turned off. This meant there’s a bright light by your bed, that you can’t turn off. I guess some people may not mind, but I like to sleep in the dark, call me weird, and I had to construct an elaborate set of shades to block the light each night.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the housekeeping very prompt and thorough, the elevators were fast. We enjoyed the property, but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the bathroom and the lighting.

The location of this hotel in the Downtown/French Quarter area is perfect and makes it easy to explore many areas of interest even by foot. It takes just about 10-15 minutes of leisurely walking to get to riverwalk and the shops around there.

The rooms are clean and functional and check in and check out efficient. The only downside with the hotel is the bad service at the breakfast area.

Room Tip: Would recommend upper rooms with city view

Picked this hotel for my family while visiting Tulane. Two king beds made it easy for three adult sized people. Very modern and comfortable lobby. Great breakfast and coffee in the morning. A short walk allowed us to catch the streetcar to Tulane and back to the Quarter. So happy we found this hidden gem.

This hotel was a great find - a room with two king-size beds, yet still plenty of room for everything. There was a nice desk, as well as a shelf, counter and cabinet for the coffee, small refrigerator and safe. The bathroom was also spacious with multiple shelves and ample space to put 'stuff.' Lots of light and lots of outlets for charging.

A couple negatives. No luggage rack, but perhaps we could have asked for one or two. We didn't bother with that. The room was on the corner, so several huge windows with multiple views; however, they were old windows that let in all the sound. Even though we were on the 4th floor, conversations on the sidewalk sounded like they were right in the hallway. This was never really a problem, since the location is not an area where lots of people congregate at night.

Beds were comfy, furniture was nice, the lobby was very sleek and inviting. and the included breakfast was always very good, even though it was the same every day. It's a standard hot and cold buffet, so plenty of choices for everyone. The desk clerks were all very helpful and friendly too. One more thing - the elevators were fast and always available; never had to wait.

The hotel's location works well.. A short walk to Bourbon St and Canal St.or the Hop On Hop Off bus stop.
