So I want to say that the hotel could have gotten a 5 out of me but there was too many little things that made the stay a little awkward.
Check in went smoothly. Had a difficult time using the key card for the elevator. I don't feel the security is as good as needed. The hotel requires a key card to get into the lobby after 11pm and to access the elevator BUT...anyone can access the same floors and hotel courtyard by going the the wine bar next door which is open to the public.
The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Now the negatives... there is a small closet and no dresser. Would recommend the hotel remove the chair/ottoman and add an armorie. We had a Premium King room with a balcony. The noise from Bourbon Street and cars honking because they couldn't get thru Bourbon Street was what caused our stay to be ruined. Upon checkout when we asked if the traffic was normal....we were told it is normal and if we had a problem with it then we could have asked for ear plugs....WHAT? How about leave some in the room. Grrrrrrr.
There is a wine bar right next door... be prepared to spend a small fortune for a glass of wine.
Breakfast is included and is very good.
Overall...average place. Needs to listen their guests and feedback
