We have nothing negative to say about this hotel and our experience there... Hotel Mazarin was stunning. The interior courtyard is breathtaking. Breakfast was very filling (eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, assorted pastries & breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice/coffee). The location is ideal, just a mere 40 feet from Bourbon Street and all the action, but quiet enough not to hear any of it at night! Easy enough to explore, head back and take a quick siesta, and then back out for more fun! The bed was incredibly comfortable and plush, the bathroom marble gorgeous.

The one thing I wish we had known was that at their 'sister property' there is a pool for customers to use, so make sure to pack that suit!

Hotel Mazarin has a promising future ahead of them in the French Quarter! We will definitely be back and staying here!

Thank you so much for such a positive review during your stay at Hotel Mazarin in New Orleans. Our owners philosophy is not to "nickel and dime" our guests, when you stay at Hotel Mazarin or any of our other sister properties it's one price, you get our enhanced continental breakfast, in room bottle water, local phone calls, wifi, business center and yes the use of our pool at our sister property, ALL complimentary.

Thanks again for staying at Hotel Mazarin and we do hope to see you again very soon!

Just stayed here for French Quarter Fest and was pleased with our room, except wished we had a little more storage space for clothing, other than that we really liked our stay. Breakfast was nice more than simply bread and coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, tea and coffee, the staff at breakfast were great. Wish the price was a little less, but during a festival it was just about the same as other hotels in the quarter of the same quality.

Perfect location; beautiful newly redone rooms; great beds, showers, linens; terrific staff; amazing full breakfast with eggs, meats, grits, fresh fruit bowls, perfect croissants in beautiful courtyard; lovely bar. We had a 5th floor courtyard room which was a peaceful oasis from crazy Bourbon Street a block away. Go quickly before they raise their prices

Room Tip: High floor, over courtyard not street

The Mazarin is a jewel. The beds extremely comfortable, the rooms and entire establishment very clean, breakfast above expectations and friendly helpful staff. The location was perfect for us as all attractions were within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The courtyard is a relaxing spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine from the bar. I would have given this hotel an excellent rating but the housekeeping staff had a habit of forgetting to provide, soap or towels or glasses. I expressed some concern on this matter and it seems there were some new staff. Once we let them know what we were lacking, they were very quick to respond.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor and facing Bienville St. For only a half block off Bourbon, we found it very quiet.

Pros: Location, niceness of room, free breakfast, free wifi.

Cons: Wifi didn't work, weddings going on into the night makes it hard to sleep, staff is friendly but not very helpful.

Overall: nice place to stay.
