Stayed during Mardi Gras. It's two blocks from Canal and the riff raff of Bourbon. I've been a fan of the brand - it's European influence and simplicity. Even during Mardi Gras - where you'd expect noise - it was quieter than I anticipated.
The lobby breakfast room has a prosciutto slicer, yogurts, self serve espresso, and a variety of quiches. If you've traveled internationally - this is similar to the style of meals in European and Canadian hotels. I'm such a fan of this type of service over the usual set of fruit, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs and bacon.
The little bottles of shampoo and the soaps are great scents.
They have a great gym where you can sweat off the buzz of Bourbon and the calories of the beignets.
Will stay here again when I'm back in New Orleans. Rooms are clean, New Orleans is a walkable city in this area, and it's a modern style.More
