Brian Foy, Jr. and Diamond Johnson were two exemplary representatives for this establishment! We felt like we were among family instantly. Lovely Southern hospitality... Because of them we look forward to staying at this property again!!

We used points to stay at this property and were certainly not disappointed. Only a block from The French Quarter and the streetcar line, it was very convenient. The rooms were spacious and appropriately appointed. From the doorman to the desk agent, we found all of the staff to be very warm and welcoming. If I had a negative comment it would be the fact that the lights were a bit difficult to maneuver; that may say more about the technical acumen of the occupant than the design of the room.

So we came in Cool Valley at about 9 o'clock at night and from the moment we got here he made everything a frenzy whoever was in a good mood he said the moon for very badd so if you're coming to this hotel do not use The Valley the service is very good the hotels are very clean no cause its base a very brand new bathroom and no room to dress up in its good for a one night stay if you're planning to stay for a long stay this is not the hotel but it has a very nice bar very comfortable beds ran you showers brand new syncs very updated hallways carpeting and small but nice double bedrooms pillows were really good to the concierge was very nice to front desk was very nice so I wouldn't give in to 5 stars if it wasn't for The Valley

It was our first time in New Orleans and this hotel was amazing. It was super clean and the location was excellent. There was some miscommunication at check in - but Jennifer Smolen, hotel manager, went above and beyond to rectify the situation. She was awesome! Also, a big shout out to the 2 ladies who worked in the breakfast room. They were so friendly and sweet and my daughter and I really enjoyed their company. Breakfast was delicious as well.

I recently visited this hotel the last weekend in June. Let me start by saying the location is the best thing about this hotel. You are near the action without the noise of Canal Street. You are in proximity to everything within an a $8 Uber ride. This hotel is completely remodeled. Pros: hotel front desk staff was friendly, shower pressure was amazing, Marriott comfortable beds, fast elevators, great valet/door staff, safe, and convenient. Cons: Small room, minimum amenities in room (i.e. no closet/drawers, no where to hang your clothes, and no mirror besides bathroom to do hair), terrible housekeeping staff, Marriott mobile key never worked, and small windows for a view. The first night, housekeeping never cleaned the room and requested twice (once at front desk and once via app). Housekeeping needs a serious Marriott corporate check. If this hotel would have been anywhere else, the size of the room and amenities would have been an issue but coming to NOLA you don’t spend time in the room. I was to give special thanks to the front desk, they were very friendly staff. Also, Aaron Williams, the doorman, has the best service, smile, and attitude every time we saw him. He helped us get Uber’s, gave directions, and made sure we were always taken care of. Aaron really was the first impression walking into the hotel and he never disappointed. Go Aaron!! Overall, I would stay here again.
