We liked the experience so much we went twice. The teachers were very knowledgeable and made the demo classes fun and entertaining. I learned a lot about Louisiana cooking. The food was delicious. Even though it wasn't hands on, I feel like I could make the dishes and I will. My favorite was the red beans and rice.

I attended a Tues morning demonstration class with Chef Shava. There were six persons in the class. He clearly demonstrated how to make different types of roux, gave a good history of food and cooking in New Orleans, and explained the difference between Creole and Cajun cooking. We had good size servings of all three dishes, enough for a delicious lunch. The food was better than most of the food I have been served in town. Overall a great experience and a great value.

We had a wonderful experience! I am an avid home cook and wasn't sure I'd learn anything new. I was taking notes! I learned a new roux technique and how to 'stick' shrimp creole! Can't wait to go back.

Great place for a cooking demo. I wrote a detailed review in 2012 this place is still awesome they added a brunch demo which I did this time and it was awesome. BBQ Shrimp and Grits, Tasso gravy and eggs on a red bean cake with bananas foster. You will leave stuffed and satisfied.
