From checking in with Jamie to when we left, all of the staff made sure we had a great experience. Rooms were clean and remodeled recently. The gym could use a sprucing up. It seems that they replaced the cardio machines recently but the weight machines could use some TLC.

The downstairs restaurant for breakfast was also yummy. This is a great location whether traveling for personal or business as you are a hop, skip and jump from the Quarter, Aquarium, and right within downtown.

Dear thezingzapper,

Thank you very much for the 5 star review of our hotel. We appreciate that you took the time to write about your experience and the great service provided by Jamie and our team. We hope that you were able to try our signature restaurant Trenasse - it features local rustic Louisiana fare. Of course, we have Pete's - which features beef from a local sustainable farm. Please tell your friends about your stay and come back to visit very soon.

I love this place! Hotel staff was friendly and offered suggestions to eat and go within the city! Room was nice and clean.. comfortable beds..every time I requested new linen the staff was prompt on bringing them. Hotel gym and pool area is really nice. I felt safe in this hotel because the only way to get to the rooms is you have to have a room key. I would stay here every time I visit NOLA

Room Tip: all rooms are great!

Really good experience. Check in good. Debbie the concierge was a great source of local knowledge. Gym good. Pool ok.
The hotel is well placed for access to city. You must ride the trolley a 24 hour ticket is $3 per person. The star of the show was Ashley Rollins food and beverage manager - she was a marvellous hostess and her guest care and attention to detail was amazing
Would recommend this hotel and will come back

Everything was breathtakingly beautiful.... love the lobby area with the chandeliers and drapes, love the secured elevators, very friendly staff as well. Food was just ok though in the bar down stairs, I got a not so fresh shrimp salad....but there were so many other restaurants to visit around the hotel it didn't bother me. Walking distance to bourbon Street, canal Street, and the casino!!! Will go back!!

Everything was good. Just nothing stood out! What are they famous for? Got me. Still a place to enjoy yourself and the city. Love early coffee and breakfast places within walking distance. Art is so modern in city and loved it
