It is the heart of the French Quarter, with lots of restaurants, shops, street performers, access to the Moonwalk/Riverwalk and much more. This place never gets old.

This is a always must stop when in Nola do not miss walking around Jackson square. We had a lot of fun just sitting listening to music and walking around looking at art!!

Little shops all around the square as well.

**MUST STOP if first time in NOLA!!

Beautiful square! This is where you can get a horse drawn buggy for a tour, Cafe Du Monde is just across the street, the Tabasco store is here, local art by local artists, and everything else. We shop here every time we're in town. Don't miss!

Enjoyable area to stroll, view the art, people watch and in general enjoy the southern genteel feel of New Orleans. Very crowded at midday but a nice evening stroll.
