When we booked it, it was the cheapest place to stay in Cortez. Stayed two days, we got new towels, but didn't make the bed. The room was clean, but the motel is showing a bit of wear. WI Fi worked well. Not a big room, but OK, had a fridge and microwave. The bedspread should have been replaced years ago. The breakfast was minimal. Waffles, cereal, muffins and yogurt. Having worked in the breakfast cereal manufacturing business for 25 years I have to say this. The cereal dispensers say General Mill. Three out of the four cereals weren't made by General Mills, the one they make was very unlikely to have been made buy them.

Room Tip: Spend more money and go somewhere else.

As expected for price, except areas around exterior doors was very unsightly with overflowing trash cans and bags of trash and liqueur bottles. I stayed 2 and 3 nights on separate times a few days apart and the situation was the same both times.

First room we got bathroom not cleaned, dirty towels on top of wardrobe.2nd room slightly better but woke next morning with 5 bites on my body. Could be bed bugs complained to desk only refunded $5. Big deal. No more travellers beware stay at own peril.

This place is run down and dirty. The staff is friendly but the property is questionable - might be a hang out for drug traffickers. I would not consider this place safe for a family vacation stay. Ridiculously overpriced for what it is.

Super filthy!! Was charged twice for the room! Trash cans overflowing all over the parking lot. Shower was awful no pressure water was cold. The breakfast was super skimpy and not a vwry clean area to begin with let a alone to eat there
