This hotel deserves the titel worst hotel in Sri Lanka. It could be quite nice according to it's place. It has a beautifull view from this point but as soon as you enter the hotel the doubt starts.....

When we arrived in the afternoon the room was not ready. This could happen but we didn't understand why as we were the only guests. The dinner was horrible, the only good thing was the soup. The chicken was cold so were the chips. Our breakfast wasn't better.

The rooms were old fashioned, not our taste of decorating but let the place be dry. Our bathroom was still wet, this could be through cleaning but it didn't dry at all. While there was humidity in the air, also the beds were not dry. This resulted in a cold night and wet towels in the bathroom.

Everything written by the writer before is still the same!

This is the worse overpriced ( about 3 times ) hotel we experienced in 13 nights spent in Srilanka. No wonder we were the only guests during this " High Season's " time.
Upon arrival Mr. Jagath the owner, was all smile and asked us to help him improve his service by commenting on his hotel ..... Well here you are Sir :
1/ Do not pretend you have been to the Lausanne Hotel School,
this claim is simply unbelievable, the way you run your
establishment.
2/ Do not say your hotel is new, when looking at the bathroom it
must be 25 years old and all you did is to repaint the walls
you did not even change the carpets !
3/ Don't buy second hand office furniture with wheels !.. To use
as chairs and armchairs in the rooms and the dining room,
nor should you buy disparate 2nd hand room furniture either.
4/ Make sure the Water heater hanging above the washbass in
not drop on Guests head, it is quite threatening .
5/ Do not use flimsy plastic doors ( yes indeed ! ) as Room
doors !
6/ Do not start vacuum cleaning while guests are having
breakfast
7/ Do not tell lies to cover unavailable items on the menu.
8/ Do not advise guests not to eat outside your establishment
as “every other restaurant in town is dreadful “ Yours is not
that impressive, vegetable were raw , the fish was overcooked
and cold.
9/ Please make sure that a prepaid room all inclusive of tax &
service is not charged for service again upon check out, and
arrange for the bill to be presented promptly ( like less than an
hour ..! ) without multiple errors and telephone calls to the
booking agent , when there are no other guests checking out .
10 / Last and not least, when a Guests tell you in the morning
that they will Not stay a second night, since they could only
sleep 4 hours, due to various noises coming for outside and
inside the Hotel, DO NOT tell them that “they are in trouble”
and will have to pay compensation !
And do not call all your goons to surround the guest in a
threatening manner while holding the guest luggage hostage.

I do not wish anyone else to go through this nightmare, I you still do thank us that there is now one hair dryer for the 15 rooms of this place.
