I would give it more stars if I could. We went 2 times over a 3 day stay in Towson. Great French onion soup. Fresh dinner salad. Prime rib French dip, OMG. Salmon was cooked properly, not over. House special filet mignon was perfect. The scalloped potatoes were impressive. Dessert blondie with ice cream and chocolate sauce was hot and fresh. Good coffee. Topping it off with exceptional service. Oh, fresh dinner rolls are heaven.

Not generally a fan of mall food, but we were looking to walk to a decent dinner. I should have listened to my inner reticence. While the food was acceptable, the service, yikes. Salads served before wine and beer, entrees arrived before salads were finished. No air conditioning on the blasted hot day we were there, and no water refills either. And when we wanted to leave, couldn't find our server for the check. One of our party of five got up, walked half the restaurant to a different server cleaning a table and asked her to find our guy. It is what is.

This is a moderately high-end stake place with a good wine selection, nice sides, and a good atmosphere. The “cowboy cut” is huge and looked tasty. I had the trio of filet medallions with different toppings. The steak was good, but the toppings (horseradish, béarnaise with asparagus and blue cheese) were dry. It came with a baked potato and all the toppings and was a filling meal. Its an easy walk from local hotels and is at the edge of the Towson Town Center Mall.

The food was good. I had rainbow trout, which it turned out was breaded and looked good but was actually bland and tasteless, served on a bed of excellent rice which was in fact beautifully seasoned. Also had a side of garlic mashed potatoes which were excellent. They didn't come with any gravy, though, which seemed very odd.

The server was a complete idiot. She had no clue about a martini, vermouth or otherwise. Pretty incompetent. Reminded me of the Sex Pistols song "We're so pretty, oh so pretty, we're vaa-cant!"
