I'm sleeping outside every night.. on the daybed on the "porch" of the little Bambu bungalow..
.. falling asleep to the waves and the crickets..it's dark but I feel so safe...
Waking up to the birds and the fishermen quietly taking their boats out.
I walk a few meters down to the sea and just sit in the water on my own, waiting for the sun to rise..
Just a few local people are up.. And me..
It's so quiet..
When the sun is up I take my sarong and go down to the pool for a few laps..
6 o'clock and still no people around.
This is the only place in Amed with this quiet old Bali vibe..
All the other places I passed on the way out here are all alike..
It's worth getting here.
If you are looking for peace.. Come here.
I stayed for five nights and thinking about coming back later on my journey and do some snorkeling which my fellow neighbors say is fantastic.
Right where I saw the huge school of dolphins the other day.
The restaurants most expensive dish is 54.000..
There are a few bungalows with AC too if you find it too hot to sleep..
Or why not do like me..
And if you do..
Don't forget mosquito repellent.. :)
