This is a well appointed hotel by Amed standards within this price range. We stayed new years eve with friends, and came back again in february with family. The rooms are pretty good but reccomend one of the three beach front villas.
Pool could do with some more chlorine, and some of the staff probably need a little training, but what do expect in a locally run establishment here in bali -. We had a toilet flush that didnt work, so the hotel guy gave us a bucket lol
The wifi is quite good which is always a problem in bali.
A short walk down the beach will find you a better range of food, but totally reccomend the vege omlette on offer for breakfast here

Room tip: Beach front

I stayed here with my wife and 9-month old son for a few days. The hotel is beachfront with a well-kept pool just steps from the sand abutting the restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Amed, and the staff were delightful and absolutely loved playing with our son to the point where they would essentially babysit while we ate!!

While our room wasn't beachfront, we did have an ocean view. It was also bigger than expected, very clean and well kept with a strong AC. Also, we had surprisingly good wifi reception.

We moved here from another hotel which was strongly exposed to motorbike noise. The hotel has three rows of bungalows: Much too expensive ones at the beach front, with a second floor room that should be fun for children; a row of dark rooms close to the street. And a middle row, which normally would have cost >1 million, but was rented reasonably at 700k, not noisy.
The room was nice and quite big, it had beautiful furniture made by carpenters in the Karangasem region. Bath room was a bit narrow, but ok. Many other bungalows were not available, because toilets or other things did not work, and this "we don't care" attitude was prevalent. Their snorkeling equipment urgently needed replacement. One of the managers was very friendly, the other was one of the harshest persons I met in Bali. Pool is ok, breakfast average boring style.

The diving area nearby is a good place to learn how to distinguish plastic from fishes.

Room tip: Middle and beach-front row little noise from the street

Great place to stay. Second time we stayed here, and upon check in we were immediately recognized and welcomed back. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is ok, albeit not great. Location is good, right by the beach and the snorkeling just off the beach is reasonable. Although the corals have lost most of the colors (no fault of Tradisi), there were still quite a bit to see. Its nice to have a dip in the pool, and/or read a book - or just have a beer to relax poolside. Sunrise is great, and so is the moonlight - great photo opportunities with the right equipment. Tulamben with the USAT Liberty wreck - and also the Japanese wreck - is not far away. Restaurants in walking distance and mostly reasonably priced. Personally we think Amed is a great place to stay and we will likely stay at Tradisi again upon our return. Renting a motorbike is a good way to get around - increases the reach vs walking - and also cheap.

Room tip: The rooms facing the sea is in my view the best option. A bit more expensive - but worth it...
