easy check-in even @ night, on spot room upgrade possible (upon availability), quiet area, big rooms, rent motorbike for good price from the hotel directly. card payment possible (but with 3% surcharge)
changed the room 3 times (that not a big deal as it was for upgrading the stay) but not in 1 of the rooms was a fully functional shower. many holes of the shower heads were blocked due to insufficient cleaning, the faucet of the bath tub was falling apart, the toilet bowl was moving... in 1 room i fixed the drawer inside the wardrobe myself

many small things sum up ...

Room tip: room #6 was the best during the stay

We just spent a Fab weekend here. Room was basic but clean.we loved the pool and having great snorkeling right there was such a blessing not to mention being able to order drinks by the pool. Highly recommend. Great price too.

The photo of the person who searched our bags at One Double Villas Amed II. He was called to fix leaking sewage.
When we left our room for breakfast, he was not in the room. We locked the door and went away. Luckily my partner had forgotten something and returned to the room, just to find out this person searching our bags. His name, I was told, is Badam Made. The owner was at the theif's side.

We had bungalow n.2 right in front of the pool with view to the sea.
Room was spacious and quite clean, although it was definitely not a luxurious. Bathroom was worse, because doors couldn´t be locked and there were only cold water in the shower. Also not enough pressure. Occasional gecko or cocroach in the room is quite common on Bali, so don´t be suprised :-)
Problem is with location, because it is really in the middle of nowhere. No decent shop nearby, so we bought most of things at fuel stations. Also finding a scooter rent was quite problem, but we suceeded.
As was mentioned, the whole place is built in large slope, so going from pool to reception is not easy. Ok for young and fit people, but older guests might have problems.
I suggest this place as a base for following trips:
Pura Lempuyang, Ujung Water Palace, Mt. Batur - company will pick you up at hotel

Did not think too much of this place. You pay for what you get but come on!

The A/C was not working, the fan was on full to push hot air around the place. The young girl at reception could not get hold of the manager which frustrated me...I wanted a room change. The restaurant was good, and staff...didn't think much of the management. Slight reduction in price of room was offered...this booking was completed on booking.com
