I have visited Wax Museum in Bangkok its way bigger and properly maintained. This museum also is good and some of celebrities is really better then I saw in Bangkok Museum. Specially favourite among the people was our PM Modiji all were waiting to click pics with him it was great. This is small place missing many celebrities so Rs 150 entry for such small place is too pricey. Would like to see wax of Sachin Tendulkar,Aamir Khan, Manmohan Singh. Some wax were Poorly created and maintained specially Angelina Jolie and some were without description. Dont except much but worth a visit.

Thank hunedin

A good try by MR. Sunil Kandallor(who is from Kerla) ..

Entry is RS 150/- per head..

Very Poor lighting and ambience, if managed properly this can be improved.. due to bad maintenance many statues doesn't seem to be in good condition..

Over rated place..

Good place to visit for kids, youngsters as well as elders. There is an entry fee of 150rs for elders but its worth it. The museum is very well maintained. There are around 45 statues of famous personalities. There is enough space provided to take pictures, volunteers are there to see u do not cause any kind of damage to the statues.

India has always produced great artists. Mr. Sunil is a living example of that. His wax figures are simply outstanding. The statue of Shivaji and Amrish Puri in particular are very lifelike and looking into their eyes, you may feel that they're staring right back at you. Anna Hazare and Mother Teresa are also very, very good. He has a very good collection with many more to come. I wish him good luck and if you're in Lonavla, do visit the wax museum and inspire such artists. It truly is Made in India.

Congratulations for attempting. It is a first of a kind experiment in Maharashtra as far as I know. Few statues are excellent like Anna Hazare, A R Rehman and Yashwantrao Chavan but few are very average like Angelina Jolie, Jackey Shroff and Charlie Chaplin. Lighting arrangements should be improved. Overall there is a great scope for improvement to make it of an international standard.
