“Divine!!”
Reviewed 19 March 2012

I didn't expect to see the temples listed in TA hence have already reviewed about it under Karla caves....any ways this temple is adjacent to the Karla caves....There is a good trek to reach this place, a few hundred steps. This temple is of Kuldevi of Koli's - Goddess of Fisher Folk of Maharashtra. What I found unique about this temple are the garlands that are sold around it.... I found some unique design and colour combinations here. also there were ones made out of dried flowers which were also unique to this place.

“Ekveera Devi - A lesser known attraction of Lonavala”
Reviewed 12 March 2012

Ekveera Devi temple is located at Karle at distance of 6 km from Lonavala. The temple is located in a hill. One can reach the temple either by car or by public vehicle (bus, rikshaw). The temple is very much popular among the koli people - a fishermen cast in Maharashtra. Reaching the temple involves an enjoyable trek of about 30 min.
The temple is located right in front of the caves popularly known as Karle caves. Karle caves are about 2000 year old and house one of the oldest and well preserved wooden Chaityagriha (Conference Hall).

“Divine place”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

Very divine place. On a hill, where you can enjoy a small treck to the temple, though not much tiering as one can trive to almost 60% distance. very near to lonavala. One of the good temples i have seen, as you can have a convinient look at the diety.

“Nice hike”
Reviewed 9 February 2012

It was a nice hike to the temple. Depending on what time of the day you go, the peak gives astounding view of surroundings but considering that we went on a long weekend, it was very crowded.
